i. The Young Agropreneur Program
The Young Agropreneur Program started in 2014 to produce young, progressive, competitive, creative, innovative and high income young entrepreneurs in the agricultural and agro-based industries. This program aims to attract youths aged 18 to 40 years to venture into the field of entrepreneurial entrepreneurship. The program’s approach is to assist and encourage the involvement of youths in entrepreneurship based on agricultural activities encompassing all activities within the value chain of agricultural industries such as crops, livestock, fisheries, agro-based industries, including marketing, support and agro-tourism. Additionally, the program aims to increase young agropreneur revenue through increased productivity, quality, technology and innovation as well as competitive markets.

The privilege of this program is an intensive technical and training advisory through the Development Program implemented by the Department / Agency or the Project Leader on the project. Eligible young agropreneur will also receive grants or in-kind contribution with a maximum limit of RM 20,000 according to the proposed project type.

ii. Agrotourism Project In Muda Areas
Agrotourism projects in the Muda Areas are aimed at promoting the agricultural-based tourism industry to the general public. With the implementation of the agrotourism project, the community can learn about the existence of an agricultural-based tourism destination where vacationers of this destination are not only able to go on vacation but can learn about agriculture.

a. MADA Kg. Jeruju Homestay
MADA Kg. Jeruju Homestay comes from a reconstructed village due to coastal erosion. The homestay is attracted by its planned placement and production of agro-based industrial products based on fishery resources such as dry fish, dried prawns and belacan.

b. MADA Pulau Pisang Homestay
MADA Pulau Pisang Homestay offers an attractive tour package that attracts both domestic and foreign tourists. Among the packages offered are Mini Zoo Package, Local Fruit Hamlet, Fishing Package and Barbeque, Tram Ride Package around the village and Campsite Package for students.

c. MADA Pantai Jamai Homestay
MADA Pantai Jamai Homestay is a village full of traditional values ​​and fascination, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the fascinating village history culture and also experience the fun of tradition-filled life.

d. Muda Resort
Muda Resort is one of the most respected agrotourism destinations and is managed by MADA. To date, Muda Resort is very well-known and has the potential to be one of the preferred destination agrotourism destinations for family and group activities.

e. Ladang Nipah Kipli, Kuala Sanglang
Ladang Nipah Kipli is a nipah plantation filled with over 3,000 nipah trees. A comfortable and fresh atmosphere under the nipah spice and nipah nipah drinks has been the driving force for this field to be visited and become one of the potential agrotourism projects.

f. Ladang Nipah Ismail Che Kaq
Ladang Nipah Ismail Che Kaq is a fun and casual conceptual nipah farm. Visitors have the opportunity to relax under the nipah tree beside enjoying fresh nira drink, nasi jeli and laksa.

g. MADA Mango Farm
The MADA Mango Farm is located in Tobiar Pendang where the area is surrounded by fields that extend beyond eyes to make the atmosphere fresh and comfortable to be enjoyed by visitors. With a total area of ​​42 hectares, it is guaranteed to give a guarantee to the visitors to taste fresh spices from the fields.

h. The Handicraft Center And IAT MADA
The Handicraft Center And IAT MADA market entrepreneurship creativity and innovative handicraft products in the MADA area by re-using wasted agricultural materials such as paddy straw, pandan and rattan so that the bags, picture frames, money bags, boxes, notebooks and more souvenirs unique and interesting to take home. Throughout 2016, Agrotourism Project in Muda Region has generated an income of RM565,457. The revenue for the 2016 year showed a decline from the previous year as a result of the decline in the Malaysian currency ringgit compared to the previous year despite the increase in number of visitors.
