1. Performance of MADA Farmers Organization (PPK)
The Area Farmers’ Organization (PPK) is an entity that serves members of registered establishments and local farmers. There are 10 main services provided by the KDP and it is as follows:

As of 2016, the number of membership of 27 MADA’s Area Farmers Organization (PPK) was 50,441 compared to 49,761 (2015). This increase in the number of membership shows the confidence of farming families in the Muda Regions to KDP management in safeguarding the welfare of its members. The comparison of the MADA PPK members started in 2013 to 2016 as shown in the chart:

In 2016, the share capital recorded for the entire 27 PPK MADA amounted to RM16,863,510 (not yet audited). Compared to the previous year, the value of this share has increased 4.95%, an increase of RM 795,639. Comparison of PPK MADA’s share capital from 2013 to 2016 is as follows:

The net (unaudited) net profit recorded by the 27 PPADA MADA in 2016 was RM8,543,478. These profits are derived from businesses operated by KDP such as contract work, petrol stations, seed and nursery supplies, Paddy Estate Projects, transportation, sales of farm supply, farm machinery and mechanization, rental and others. Comparing the net profit of PPK MADA from 2013 to 2016 is as follows: The net profit (not audited) recorded by the 27 PPADA MADA in 2016 is RM8,543,478.
