YBhg. Dato’ Fouzi Ali, MADA General Manager and Tuan Syed Zainuddin Syed Zain along with MADA technical team visited the Muda and Pedu Dam and its lakes and catchments. The tour was to look at the current situation and water levels in both dams providing the main source of water for paddy cultivation in the Young Area and raw water sources for the greater use of Kedah and Perlis.

As of February 3, 2020, the reservoir for the Pedu Dam was 348,340 acres or 39.81%, the Muda Dam 9,500 acres or 7.6% and the Ahning Dam 129,635 acres or 58.13%.
