MS ISO 9001 : 2008 DAM MANAGEMENT AND WATER RESOURCE DIVISION QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MS ISO 9001 : 2008 Dam Management and Water Resource Division (BPESA) has been certified by SIRIM QAS under Quality Management System (QMS) MS ISO 9001:2008 under the scope for Operation, Maintenance and Safety Monitoring of Muda, Pedu and Ahning Dams on 31st December 2009. The implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) involves the Dam Operation and Maintenance Section, Dam Safety Section in MADA headquarters (Alor Setar), Muda Dam Unit office in Sik, Pedu Dam Unit Office in Kuala Nerang and Ahning Dam Unit Office in Kuala Nerang. The document content for the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Operation, Maintenance and Safety Monitoring of Muda, Pedu and Ahning Dams comprised of Quality Manual, Seventeen (17) Procedures and Thirty Five (35) work instructions. In line with MS ISO 9001: 2015 standards, SIRIM has determined that all MS ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System implementation should shift to this new standard and all certifications from 2018 will be based on MS ISO 9001: 2015. Quality Management System Documents (SPK) for the scope of Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring of the Young, Safety, and Ahning Safety Scheme and MS ISO 9001: 2015 standard are improved by involving One (1) Quality Manual, Eight (8) Quality Manual (Annex) Twelve (18) Procedures and Thirty-Seven (37) Procedures. The SIRIM audit re-certification on 05 to 07 September 2017 has summarized that the Quality Management System for Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring of Young Infrastructure Security, Pedu and Ahning at MADA Headquarters (Alor Setar), Unit of the Young Dam Unit (Sik), Unit Office Pedu Dam (Kuala Nerang) and Ahning Dam Unit Office (Kuala Nerang) are in compliance with the MS ISO 9001: 2015 standard. |
