MADA RICE TRAINING CENTRE

INTRODUCTION
MADA Rice Training Center (MRTC) is one of the agricultural skills training centers under the Agricultural Skills Training Division, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAFI). The training program offered is the study of Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in the field of Supervision of Paddy Production Operations.
This study program which takes one and a half years (1 Year 6 Months) includes theoretical and practical study and is offered to all SPM male students aged from 18 years to 25 years.
As of December 2020, a total of 368 graduates have been born since the establishment of the MADA Rice Training Center in January 2013.

NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM (PLKPK), AGRICULTURAL SKILLS TRAINING DIVISION (BLKP)

  1. National Agricultural Skills Training Program (PLKPK). PLKPK was established in line with the approval of the Cabinet on 24 July 2002 to increase agricultural production through a model of skilled human development in the field of agriculture. PLKPK is implemented based on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) with the provisions of the National Skills Development Act 2006 (National skill Development Act @ NASDA).
  2. Under the National Agricultural Skills Training Program (PLKPK), there are 15 Agricultural Training Institutes under the supervision of the National Agricultural Training Division (BLKP), MAFI which offers various fields of agricultural skills training for SPM graduates aged between 18-25 Years.
