MS ISO QUALITY SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION 9000
TO MADA WATER MANAGEMENT HANDLING OF SYSTEMS

Muda Agricultural Development Authority was is awarded with MS ISO certificate 9002:1994 for the Implementation of Quality System Management (SPK) of MADA Water Management Process in the main office, District and locality (I A, II G, III C and IV F) on 14 December 2000.

Implementation of Quality System Management involve Water Management Unit in main office (Alor Star), I (Kangar) Wilayah, II (Jitra) Wilayah, III (Pendang) Wilayah, IV Wilayah (Kota Sarang Semut), Lokaliti A-I, Lokaliti G-II, Lokaliti C-III & Lokaliti F-IV (Sg. Lemon In).

From 1 May 2003, MADA start use document that is new based on standard MS ISO 9001:2000. MADA was audited by SIRIM QAS Sdn. Bhd. and was awarded with MS ISO certificate 9001:2000 on 20 February 2004.

SPK implementation developed to eight (8) Lokaliti in early year 2007 involve Lokaliti D-I, Lokaliti E-I, Lokaliti D-II, Lokaliti H-II, Lokaliti A-III, Lokaliti E-III, Lokaliti B-IV and Lokaliti D-IV make overall 12 Lokaliti got involved with Sistem Kualiti MS ISO 9001:2000. Quality system implementation in areas was conceded by SIRIM during Audit Monitoring implemented in 19 to 21 Mar 2007 and awarded certificate on 13 August 2007.

In the early year of 2009, almost eight (8) locality was added in registeration scope of SPK; B-I(Kayang),C-I (Utan Aji), A-II (Kodiang), B-II (Sanglang), C-II (Kerpan), B-III (Alor Senibong), C-IV (Kangkong) dan E-IV (Bukit Besar) with a total of 20 locality from 27 locality involved with SPK. The certificate for scope expansion of SPK registration in (quality addition) received an award from SIRIM in 16 december 2009.

In line with MS ISO’s standard issue 9001:2008, SIRIM decided that all Quality Management Sytem MS ISO implementation 9001:2000 should move to standard that is new and all certificates from year 2010 is based on MS ISO 9001:2008.

Quality Management system practiced for MADA Water Management System started transition preparatory jobs from MS ISO 9001:2000 to MS ISO 9001:2008 since August 2009. Connection all those quality document was updated to fulfill MS ISO will 9001:2008 that new.

Remake of Audit certification by SIRIM in 11 to 13 January 2010 has formulated that MADA Water Quality Management System in main office, 4 Wilayah and 27 Lokaliti implemented is fulfilling MS ISO standard 9001:2008. Therefore, MADA was is awarded with MS ISO certificate 9001:2008 on 26 May 2010.
